“My dad says that childhood is the happiest time of my life. But, I think he’s wrong. I think my mom’s right. She says that childhood is what you spend the rest of your life trying to overcome. ”

Pro-democracy students clash with Basiji’s (pro-Islamic Regime paramilitary forces) in this video which was smuggled out of Allameh University, Tehran, College of Social Sciences.
Eventually about five men wearin white shirts (Basij trademark) took one of their injureds downstairs. The voice of women as it has been teh case often is louder than men.
Some of the slogans were: “Basiji get lost, Basiji get lost!”, “Unity, Unity…. “, ““Freedom, Equality, Support, Support.”

Nobel Peace Laureate Shirin Ebadi support Stop Child Executions Petition
by David ET on May.24, 2007, under Uncategorized
” When a 16 year old child commits a crime, they issue the death sentence. They keep the child until s/he is over 18 and then proceed with the execution. In reality this is a multiple torture. Assume being someone who everyday has to turn the pages of the calendar to see when you are 18 years old to be killed. This multiple torture that is committed by Government of Iran in reality is an extreme and repeated violation of human rights”

Dear leaders (of Islamic Republic)
by David ET on May.23, 2007, under Uncategorized
Dear leaders, did you enjoy seeing the bloody face of that woman in Tehran? She is probably mother of a child or will be a mother someday.
Did you enjoy seeing the swollen body of that 20 year old youth that the your police was standing next to with electric batons?
Did you enjoy seeing the shaking legs of the young girl who was being taken away for having her scarf slightly pulled back ?
Dear leaders, did you enjoy seeing the pale face of the mother who was begging you not to take away his son? Did you enjoy when your men attacked their home?
You should start a class for the other police in the world of how to treat the people the they are supposed to protect.
Dear leaders, thank you for beating us up so that we learn to comply. Thank you for attacking our homes and demoralizing us so that we learn how to behave. Thank you for calling us infected with “plague”.
Before ending this thank you letter, we should take this opportunity to also thank God that Islam is still alive and you are its guardians. We should thank God that you are watching over the people of country not to sin.
Dear leaders , beware of the “plague” as it is a nasty decease and you will catch it too…
