A white American friend wrote me today: “I was planning to vote for Obama as well. I don’t know how much damage this minister from Chicago has done but many people I have talked to who were planning to vote for him have said that now they have grave concerns. It is really unfortunate that happened.”
and I replied: “this will be a test of consciousness and awareness of Americans at this historical point. After all people get what they are capable of having ! Choosing Hillary or McCain will have serious future social and political consequences in the self destructive path that US has been taking.”

Those such as Ferraros and Clintons seem to be pro racial equality as long as it gets them the votes of blacks and minorities and when they don’t, they play the dirty race card too.
Anyway! This recent interview with Kerry just reminded me why I didn’t care for him when he ran for president. Can’t they ALL just shut up ?? Basically Kerry is saying the same thing as Ferraro but in a different context that : Obama can be successful in Middle East because he is black! So how come Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice are not so popular there?
When will this country GROW UP and move on beyond the pigment of someone’s skin for God Sake, white or black?!!!?
